Sheringham Carnival 2010

Sheringham Carnival Latest News

We are holding a Mid-Summer Ball on 19th June at Pinewoods as a fundraiser for Sheringham Carnival. The evening will include Live Band, Disco, Hog Roast Banquet and much more. We are inviting you to ‘Come to the Ball’, just like Cinderella! An opportunity for you and your friends to pamper yourselves and get glammed up for what promises to be a fantastic evening and all for just 25 per person. This also includes transport from Sheringham, so no need to drink and drive. But you must book early as tickets are selling very fast. Tickets can be reserved via our web site www.sheringhamcarnival.co.uk or on 01263 588082.

During Carnival Week we are continuously adding events. The latest confirmed additions are the Ancient Armouries Longbow Experience, where you can try your hand at shooting in a safety range with targets, mediaeval tents, flags, shields and also a display of English and French arms and armour with a hands on feel.

We are also holding a Carnival ‘Bikini’ Dip where we are inviting everyone to come along dressed in bikinis (yes, men too!) and enjoy an exhilarating swim in our beautiful sea! If nothing else, taking part in this event will certainly wake you up in readiness for the Opening Day events. For spectators it should prove to be an eye opening experience.

Without the support of our local businesses and volunteers, Sheringham Carnival would not take place. We would like to take this opportunity to thank those who sponsor events and support our programme through their advertising, the money raised during Carnival Week is essential to many local charities.

Please help us to make this Carnival the best one yet, if you have an idea for an event that we can include, please let us know. If you have a hobby that you could showcase by way of demonstration, get in touch. Variety is the spice of life as they say, and we are looking for everything from knitting workshops or lace making, through to wood carving, we want to have something for everyone.
