CADSingers will be performing at a Christmas concert at Blakeney church on Monday December 10th at 7.30pm. This will be in conjunction with the North Norfolk Concert Band. This is a FREE concert but donations are encouraged for a local charity yet to be decided. So come along and enjoy the seasonal exuberance of the band and singers. This is always a great festive, sing-along occasion.

On the following Saturday, CADSingers will also be performing in Langham Church at 3pm with another festive concert. This is also a FREE concert with donations towards the church and the village hall.

Preparations for the CADS Panto are well under way. Sheila Rudgely has come up with her usual rollicking 'script full of local misfits, regal snooties, calculating baddies and youngsters under threat from wicked termagents and the like. Elisabeth Rooke is coaxing the best notes out of the cast so that they can belt out a wonderful selection of songs from Elvis and Cliff through to Status Quo and Bonnie Tyler. Janet Keymer is patiently drilling reluctant feet into some semblance of dance routines that fit the music. So, 'Mother Hubbard and the King's Pantaloons' awaits its audiences in February. The title guarantees a concoction of nursery rhyme themes (Goldilocks, the Three Bears, Old Mother Hubbard), mixed in with a daft king, an incompetently evil inventor with his doting female assistant, a lovelorn Mr. Plod, a village idiot cross dresser called Boris and many more...

The panto will be on February Thursday 7th, Friday 8th, and Saturday 9th 2013 at 8pm each night with a matinee at 3pm on Saturday 9th. Charity Night will be Friday 8th. Tickets can be obtained from Made in Cley from early January. Look out for some of the cast at the Holt Lights on Wednesday 21st. They will be dishing our fliers publicising the show.
