5:30pm The Wicked Witch and dancers from the cast of Cinderella.
5:45pm Sheringham Primary School Choir
6:00pm The Salvation Army Band
6:15pm Presentation of The Chamber of Trade's “Best Dressed Shop”
6:25pm The “Lights Up!” Christmas song from the show.
6:30pm Christmas lights switch on where the White Witch from Narnia is
banished by the Carnival Queen and children bring Christmas back to
The Mayor, Mr David Gooch, will be presenting a cheque to Sheringham
Carnival as a donation to the cost of the Town’s Christmas Lights, on behalf
of the Town Council.
Look out for: Hot chestnuts, Hog Roast, Croque Monsieur, McMillan Charity
Stall and late night shopping.
Also: Whatknot! Live set 8-10pm Outside Oddfellows Hall
Please note: there will be a road closure from 4pm ish (we will keep the
road open as long as possible) and it will re-open by 8pm at the latest.
that time of year again when Sheringham Carnival Association must hold its
Annual General Meeting and a formal notice is given below. Everyone is
welcome ; please think about whether you could spare a few hours to help out
at the Carnival events or with all the preparation beforehand. Do you have
any ideas you would like to put forward?
The committee would like to say a huge thank you to everyone
who has assisted with or otherwise supported all Carnival Events this year –
Christmas Lights, Viking Festival, Sea Fishing Festival, Carnival, Forties
Weekend (town events) – whatever role you played made each event a success!
We do really hope more people will volunteer to enable Carnival Events 2016
to be equally successful.

ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING
SHERINGHAM CARNIVAL ASSOCIATION LTD

7.30pm PROMPT at The Oddfellows Hall, Sheringham
According to the Constitution of Sheringham Carnival Association Ltd, all
existing officers and governors must stand down each year, but can offer
themselves for re-election, along with any other interested parties. The
following positions of Officers and Governors will become vacant:
NON-EXECUTIVE GOVERNORS (2)
Nominations for these posts should be submitted, together with the names of
the proposer and seconder, and a written acceptance of the nominee to the
Retiring Chairperson or Retiring Vice-Chairperson 7 days before the Annual
General Meeting. If you wish to vote for officers at the AGM, you must fill
out a Membership Form and be included on the register of Members. These will
be available at the AGM.
