Mark's new skills have led to employment

Mark HobbsMark Hobbs from Sheringham in Norfolk, has successfully gained employment after retraining at Portland College, a national, residential, specialist training college for people with physical disabilities. Mark successfully acquired AutoCAD Level 2 in 2D and Level 3 in 3D in Computer Aided Design.

Now, with these qualifications behind him, Mark (48), who suffers from Osteoarthritis and Diabetes, is working as a Computer Aided Design Technician with Building Innovation Ltd in Southam, Warickshire. Mark commented - "I really enjoyed my time at the College. I have managed to achieve what I came for - a new skill and the means of getting myself back into employment."

Portland College is situated in the heart of Sherwood Forest in Nottinghamshire. The College provides education and training for people with physical disabilities from all over the UK from the age of 16 onwards.
