Sheringham Carnival - a resounding Success

The whole of Carnival week was a joy to attend.  Events throughout the week were enjoyed by young and old.  For me, the icing on the cake was  when David Farrow, Chairman of the Sheringham and District Branch of the Royal British Legion found out that his float had won Best in Class.  There is a long tradition of float building in his family and after several times of trying and some truly excellent floats, David finally joined the list of family winners.  Well done. 

Also the winner of the Barry Horner 'Spirit of Carnival' trophy was presented to Tony Nelson, which is much deserved after many years of service to the Carnival.
