TO 'FASHION'ABLY RAISE MONEY FOR CHARITY
|Jools and her team at GAZELLE of Sheringham and Cromer
will be showing off their wonderful new 'Spring/Summer Collection' of ladies fashions to
raise funds for Friends of DayBreak, a group which specifically raise money for BREAK
charity's day care services for adults with learning disabilities.
The Fashion Show will take place on Tuesday 8th April at The Southland's Hotel, South
Street, Sheringham at 7.00pm for 7.30pm. Models, which include staff and customers of the
shops who have all freely given their time to this event, will be showing off the new and
exciting range of clothes for real women of all ages, for every occasion. This will also
be the first showing of the new collection before it even reaches the shops!
Bernard Watson, Manager of DayBreak said; "DayBreak provides an essential service to
many people across North Norfolk. We very much cater to individual needs and exist to
provide a range of activities, opportunities and experiences for adults with learning
disabilities, from providing oppertunities that will help build confidence and develop
individual responsibility to encouraging interaction and discussion, all in a relaxed and
enjoyable atmosphere. We try to provide as wide a range of activities as possible,
including further education, working and learning about computers, arts and crafts, and
visits to local attractions. Funds raised by the Friends of DayBreak will provide
additional resources and equipment for the DayBreak groups, which is invaluable to
Their main centre in Sheringham takes up to 25 adults with learning disabilities, from
just one day to five days a week, dependent on the individuals needs and requirements.
They also have six other 'cluster groups', which operate within village and church halls
or community centres on particular days during the week. These 'cluster groups' take up to
ten people at any one time. If you would like to support DayBreak and get a glimpse of
this lovely collection then please come along on 8th April - tickets are selling fast!
Tickets are £7.50 per person, which includes a glass of wine and nibbles. You can pick up

||RECORD CHARITY DONATIONS FROM SHANTYMEN IN 2003
The Sheringham Shantymen made a record £6600 in charitable donations in 2003. The money
went to a range of local and national charities including the RNLI. The Shantymen raised
the money during their 2002 concert programme.
