SHERINGHAM YOUTH FOOTBALL CLUB
UNDER 11, UNDER 12 & UNDER 13 PRESENTATION EVENING
The presentation evening was held on 14th May and the Club House was packed!

Finished joint 4th in the league, sixth on goal difference. It was a good first year in 11-a-side and all the boys plaid well.

Sheringham Premier League Winning Team 1970.
P Underwood, P Bullen, P Bywater, R Sadler, P Scott, A Beasy, R Wilkinson, M Hurst, R Childs, R Daniels, K Rudd, P Crane, K Noller. Throughout the season only the above 13 players were used in the team. Alan Beasy was playing in the side in 1958 after leaving Cromer F. C. and is still with the Club (Not Playing!) and can be heard on the touchline asking for someone to, ' fetch my boots".

(EDP) 29th Oct 1898 Norfolk Junior Cup 1st Round, Sheringham v North Walsham. A most unpleasant game ended in the Whelkers getting beaten 1 - 0. Following the match mud was thrown at the referee Harry Driver. P Bacon.
