The Christmas Lights of Sheringham were switched on very
successfully on Saturday 29th December. Didn't the volunteers who stepped in at the last

The lantern parade from Lifeboat Plain to the Town Clock was full of excited children
including Rebecca Wilbraham and Lucy Dunkling. The children singing Away in a Manger
brought a tear to your eye and once more the Salvation Army Band had our toes tapping.
Santa's Grotto in the Town Clock was wonderful. The Town Crier led the countdown and our
very own Carnival Queen and the children switched the lights on.
Hot chestnuts and carol singing, surrounded by smiling children. What a lovely town this
