Acle put up a spirited display against an East Coast team who looked very lively right
from the outset. East Coast got the scoring off through Jodi Norris who fired the
ball into the bottom corner of the net. Ben Conn scored his first goal of the season
sprinting through and firing the ball home. Jacob Knowles then scored with a fine

pressing and Josh Glister who got clean through on goal hit a fierce shot, which the acle
keeper could not hold on to. Tommy Bywaters was next to score with another well
worked East Coast move which he finished off, Will Parker then added another goal just
before half time to make it 6-0.
In the second half East Coast got off to a flyer with Josh Glister drilling another fine
shot past the keeper. Acle to there credit kept going but East Coast came at them
again and Jodi Norris scored his second of the game, Ben Conn then capped off a good
performance with his second of the match. To Acle's credit there heads didn't drop
and they kept working hard, Will Parker then finished off the scoring to make a resounding
victory for East Coast. Special mention must go to John Reynolds in goal who when
called upon commanded his defence magnificently to ensure East Coast a 10-0 victory.
East Coast Warriors U11s 4 v 2 Sheringham U11s
On a wet and windy afternoon an entertaining game of football was played between the two
local rivals. East Coast got off to a good start and dominated the early exchanges
having the wind at their backs. East Coast showed some really lovely touches and
were passing between each other with sublime skill considering the conditions. East
Coast took the lead after a lovely in swinging corner from Shane Cox was headed on by Jodi
Norris for Nick Blake to tap into the net. East Coast kept pressing and some
pressure by Will Parker on the Sheringham defence ended up with them firing the ball into
their own net. At half time it was 2-0 to East Coast.
In the second half with the wind at there backs Sheringham made a fist off it but the
midfield and defence of East Coast looked really solid, with Ali Burghall Tom Harrison Tom
Fleming and John Reynolds all working really hard into the wind.
East Coast kept pushing forward and were unlucky not to add to their goals with Ben Conn
and Kyla Love going close. East Coast then got a clear penalty from a handball for
Shane Cox to step up and coolly slot the ball into the corner of the net. East Coast
then added to their goals when Benn Conn struck there fourth. Sheringham to there
credit kept there heads and scored two goals to make the final score 4-2 to East Coast.
